Spinal decompression is the pulling, stretching and releasing, (vacuum
effect) through ropes connected to a machine.This procedure will in turn separate the bones around the discs reducing pressure on the discs as well as the spinal nerves. It allows the disc to return to its original place between the bones , reducing the disc bulge/ herniation. The disc is not supplied with blood like other tissues in the body, therefore motion and hydration are the nutrients to the spinal discs.
